Expected to be $160-170 USD. Anyone wants to buy kidneys?

Not too expensive for a fancy keyboard. Not what I’m looking for though (might be nice for my HTPC).

I wonder if I can get it as a kit to put my Zealios in?

Is it a coincidence that the layout is identical to the one on my Lenovo ThinkPad? Of course, you can’t go wrong with it because its truly an excellent keyboard.

Put a trackpad on it and I’m sold. Also maybe a groove to hold a tablet upright.

I don’t know who you’re selling kidneys to, but they are cheating you. You can easily sell them for at least a quarter million USD from less reputable vendors nonconsensual organ arbitrageu rs .

I turned a T hinkP ad with a broken display into something that looks just like that. I think it cost me about $12 with free shipping, though I did have to add my own hard drive...

That’ll be very intentional.
(I’m actually bothered by that particular interpretation of the 7-row layout, what was wrong with the original version?)

I wish it were the old 7-row layout, not that... but can I get it with Matias Clicks (somehow I doubt this) and wireless (somehow I also doubt this)?

Where are you seeing $160-170? Mechanical keyboards and the Tex website list it for $390-400.

390-400 is the Kodachi with the missing F12 key. Justin who works for Tex stated on Reddit that it’s that price.

Trackpad. Ew.

I see now. This is a plastic case vs the Kodachi’s metal case which allows them to cut the price in half. I hope they offer it as a switchless kit , I have Zealios that need a home.

I think the keycaps are non-standard as well though, the top rows and island keys are smaller it seems.

They do look non standard but they should fit over the Zealios (and any other Cherry type switch) unless they are using some custom solution for the top rows. Personally I like the included caps and would probably stick with them, especially since I don't want to Dremel any of my other sets to fit the track point. Apparently they also got a genuine Lenovo track point mechanism this time too instead of the mess they used on the Yoda.

I’m holding out for the DIY kit Justin confirmed to me yesterday. No point paying for switches when I am just going to replace them.
